Our landscaping has finally screeched to halt. After putting in the driveway, building up the lawn around it, spreading seed, and putting in our final bed, we're done for this year. Thank goodness - it was starting to get cold outside!
September, like every month, was full of weekends of friends and family. Early in the month, mom, Sara, Liv and I hosted a bridal shower for Lindsay. The weather was perfect for the garden shower in my mom and dad's backyard. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend Tara's shower the next weekend as Randy and I were riding (in the rain) along side Rebecca and Roger on a 17-mile bike ride through the Zoo and surrounding areas.
Randy and his buddies headed up north to the Dells the next weekend. I enjoyed a quiet weekend alone...and loved every minute of it. What happens in the Dells, stays in the Dells J
Stacey and Tyler Eck were married in Elkhart Lake, WI at the Osthoff on Saturday 9.27. Randy and I had a great time catching up with my college girls and their significants: Clare & Nick, Beth & Sam, Kathy & Kyle, and Anne Marie & Travis. Congrats to Beth and Sam on their engagement. Some of Clare's pictures from our night are posted below. The wedding was beautiful!
Lindsay and Mike Kukla were married last Friday 10.3 in Elk Grove Village, IL. I was so happy to stand up in my longest friend's wedding. She looked amazing :) Along with my parents and Sara & Jeromy, we were able to catch up with my friends from DHS: Tara & Mike, Nicole & Kris, Kayte & Brody, and fellow Wisconsin-transplants, Tracy & Jake. The newlyweds spend the week following their wedding in Hawaii!
Tara and Mike's wedding is in two weeks. I'll be sure to post stories from their big day!
Don't forget about our upcoming Halloween Housewarming on Friday, 10.31 after 7. It's sure to be a fun time.
