I remember when I was in grade and high school, I wanted to paint my room, change the carpet, bedding or rotate furniture every 6 months. Let's just call it Decoration A.D.D. Now that I'm a big girl, I can re-do more than just my bedroom; I have full reign on a house! 10 rooms to redecorate, when the budget allows.
Luckily, I've found a partner who shares my Decoration A.D.D. disorder. Although I'm fairly confident his participation in house updates have more to do with resale value and less to do with the aesthetics, I appreciate it just the same.
Randy took vacation this week and next. How, you ask, is he spending his time? Well, here's my list and it's only Wednesday of week one. So far, he has drilled 7 holes in the kitchen ceiling, uninstalled the kitchen chandelier, installed recessed lighting, installed dimmers in the kitchen, painted the laundry room and kitchen, and installed plywood sub-floor in the laundry room in preparation for the ceramic tile (that will be installed tomorrow). Holy Cow! Also, it should be known that we are taking our second trip to Home Depot today to purchase hardwood flooring. (Will be installed in January!)
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for Randy's ambitious personality, handyman talents, and most recently, allowing me to choose Radicchio for the bathroom paint color. :-)
