Sunday, April 11

Over the past two years Randy and I have put hundreds of miles on our bikes. When the weather is ideal, we jump on our bikes for 10-12 mile rides throughout Muskego and into neighboring towns. Still being a bit unfamiliar with the winding roads that lead to undiscovered parts of towns, we often ride making split-minute decisions on whether we should turn right or left. I guess it's a little mini adventure.

We had a great ride this Saturday lasting just over an hour discovering the southeast part of Muskego. Sunday's ride had a wee-bit of a twist at the end. We biked to Pick 'n Save and road home with our weekly groceries. We've tried this before (and were successful) but only purchased a few necessities. This time, we picked up the entire weekly purchase - bread, gallon of milk, yogurts, frozen pizza, rice, fruit, veggies, and a whole lot more. We came prepared with a backpack to hold most of the food. I bet we looked like a site riding down the road headed back home. Randy balanced himself with the gallon of milk on one side and a bag of groceries on the other. How did we do? You guessed it - We made it home with everything in tact.

Maybe this will become a weekly occurrence during the summer months!

Ha! I am not coordinated enough on a bike to even attempt this. Well done!

Too fun! I don't think I would be coordinated enough for the galloon of milk trick :-) Hope to see you guys soon, are you going to be in town in the near future?
