With very little effort, this summer's garden has yielded a variety of plants that make their way to our dinner table. We've harvested lettuce, cilantro and spinach thus far. The carrots, onions, broccoli and peppers need a bit more time to grow. The spinach was a one-time plant so I needed to replant other seeds in it's place. On Monday, with the help of my two favorite twins, we dug up all the spinach and gathered more lettuce for dinner. Thanks for your help D&O! Just from two packets of seeds, we've yielded nearly 8 gallon Ziploc bags of lettuce and spinach ~ and it's only June!

Later this summer we'll have cucumbers and Romaine, peppers, carrots, onions, jalapenos and more!
