I love getting the mail these days! It's like December holiday card time - every trip to the mailbox brings us a couple more responses each and every day. If Randy gets the mail before I get home, he's been pretty good about leaving the envelopes on the counter for me to open when I get home. If there are multiple responses, we split the honors of opening the envelopes together.

My favorites to received are the response cards with little handwritten notes. These extra touches to the response cards express how excited guests are to celebrate with us or, conversely, they are sad not to be able to join.

We have gotten a couple responses that will require a detective work in mid-November. I was reminded last night that I should have numbered the response cards so I could easily identify cards without names. AUGH! I knew this!! I can't believe I forgot this important step.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Michele, Rebecca & Mary are hosting a Ladies' Tea in my honor. I can only imagine the amount of effort and extra touches these ladies put on the shower - I can't wait to see it all come together. Pictures to follow!
